Tim graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting before moving on to Boise State, where he earned his Master’s degree in Taxation. He brought with him more than 20 years of experience in public and corporate accounting to Millington & Co. when he joined the firm in 2025 as a Partner and Lead Tax Strategist. Tim serves a wide variety of clients, with a particular focus on dental practices and blue-collar businesses. He enjoys demystifying the tax code for clients and developing strategies that help them reduce their tax burden, strengthen their businesses, and keep more of what they earn.

Tim was born and raised in Nampa, Idaho, where he graduated from Vallivue High School, and has lived in Idaho for most of his life. He and his wife have been married for more than 25 years and have eight children. In welcoming a new addition to his family (and growing collection of titles), Tim recently became a grandpa. He volunteers through his church and enjoys spending his free time watching movies, playing games with his family, and following sports, especially football.
