"We are moving Tax Day from April 15 to July 15," Secretary Steven Mnuchin wrote on Twitter. "All taxpayers and businesses will have this additional time to file and make payments without interest or penalties."
While a statement on twitter is NOT considered official or authoritative, we do anticipate that the IRS will issue guidance to us over the weekend.
We will also continue to provide you with answers to your questions. We know many of you have questions on the stimulus package and we are waiting guidance on the paid time off tax credit that was passed earlier this week. As additional information becomes available, we will pass it along.
Many have asked if we are still in the office. We are running on a smaller crew at the office with staff working remotely as well. You are welcome to come in. We do have options if you don’t want to come in and would encourage you to use them: good old fashion phone calls and virtual meetings. Just call us and we will get one setup with you.
